DANCE

Mock Audition: 

This once in a lifetime workshop offers dancers the opportunity to audition for Cirque du Soleil!

 

In partnership with Artistic Director Silke Ortloff and the Head of Casting Sarah Davison, this FULL DAY workshop will prepare students for their leap into the world of commercial dance and Cirque du Soleil. 

Dancers will be expected to learn a combination, and be open to work on building a character and improvisation skills.  

Please prepare a dance solo of 90 seconds in length. All music must be on a portable device that can be connected by an AUX cable.

*Please note that this is a mock audition and will not lead to employment. This is for educational purposes only.

This Seminar and Q&A will provide you with the opportunity to learn what it is like to compose a Broadway Musical as well ask questions to the world renowned composer Richard Oberacker.

During this workshop students will be performing monologues and receiving feedback from Richard Oberacker. *This session is only open for observers.

Do you want to hone your audition skills? During this workshop students will be performing a 32 bar cut of an audition song and receiving feedback from Richard Oberacker. *This session is only open for observers.
